Overview
ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Responsibilities
Provide acute care in the ICU as part of the PRN coverage model (approximately 4-6 shifts per month) Perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation Work with 1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 APP with MD on call for support (7pm to 7am) Clinical Teaching with Residents/Fellows Possibility to cover at sister facility, Mtn View in Las Vegas PRN Shift length: 12-hour shifts; days or nights Qualifications
Acute care certified in Nevada Reside in the Vegas area within a reasonable commute to the facility ICU experience required APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation Ability to work PRN, approx 4-6 shifts per month Incentive/Benefits Package

Full-service ER Department including a separate 24/7 Free-Standing ER facility, ER at The Lakes Surgical services with robotic and minimally invasive procedures for orthopedics and spine, general surgery, gynecology, and gastroenterology Comprehensive orthopedic services including a specialized inpatient unit Behavioral health services including an 80-bed facility, The Pavilion Women’s Services including high-risk OB and a remodeled unit Full-service oncology unit with chemo certified nursing staff About Las Vegas, Nevada
