The Supplier Development Engineer will assist in monitoring suppliers’ performance against contractual obligations, scorecards and key performance indicators. In coordination with Supplier Quality, they will facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and problem resolution for suppliers failing to meet performance expectations. The position reports to the Division Supplier Development Manager. Responsibilities

Conduct onsite supplier audits to evaluate supplier health and business risk. Evaluate supplier processes including capability, capacity, delivery performance, output, and reporting of supplier performance. Support the strategic sourcing department with work transfers, including supplier evaluation/selection and completion of work transfer stage gates. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (required) in business, engineering, or materials management. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an engineering, continuous improvement, or program management role. Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices; advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Innovator mindset with lean principles and practices. Key Skills
