Summary of Responsibilities

Work directly with the Solar Superintendent and project managers to implement project goals and timelines.

Assist with staff assignments, ensuring the crew is equipped to meet construction objectives.

Coordinate with construction managers, project leads, and vendors to secure project materials and crew production.

Communicate project status, delays, and issue resolution to leadership, clients, and subcontractors.

Identify and address safety concerns and prevention measures on site.

Maintain a project task schedule and a three‑week look‑ahead to support project execution.

Lead weekly project meetings, discuss change events, and evaluate staff and subcontractor performance.

Perform quality‑control and safety inspections, documentation, and electronics submittals, and maintain crew production schedule.

Prepare Punch‑List items and observe previous week’s activities to ensure project closeout and QA/QC compliance.

Travel up to 100% and work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as required to support project execution.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Minimum two years of construction industry experience with proficiency in construction principles and tools.

Proficiency with computer operating systems and Microsoft Suite.

Experience using project management software such as Procore.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow directions and take initiative.

Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish construction goals in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands

Climb ladders, scaffolding, stairways, and work at elevated heights or in confined spaces.

Walk or move continuously while carrying tools and/or materials; lift items over 50 lb with assistance.

Stand or walk for long periods on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).

Maintain full range of motion and flexibility consistent with job duties.

Work Environment and Mobility Barriers

Predominantly outdoor climate; exposure to extreme hot or cold weather; high humidity, rain, and lot of noise.

Work performed around hazardous equipment and confined areas; uneven ground and elevated elevations.

Potential exposure to chemical substances in the construction environment.
