At Jacobs, we drive positive impact by solving critical problems in advanced manufacturing and many other sectors. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team. Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems. Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Development of final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other systems. Coordination with other disciplines. Qualifications
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Preferred Experience
Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in designing plumbing/utility systems. Benefits
