Overview
Electrician: This is an exciting role that will be responsible for industrial electrical systems troubleshooting and will be one of the customer-facing experts for the company. This role will be extremely hands-on and involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading complex electrical control systems (power distribution, motors, conveyors, control panels, and VFDs). The company is headquartered in the Fife, WA area. The company is a small, hands-on team whose mission is to modernize aging electrical control systems in process environments in a variety of industries. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and control systems in industrial and marine processing facilities
Diagnose issues in power distribution, motor controls, conveyors, PLC panels, and related automation systems
Install, upgrade, and modify electrical components, wiring, and control panels
Assist in testing and commissioning electrical and automation systems at customer sites
Work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement system updates and improvements
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control documentation
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, codes, and company policies
Provide on-site and remote support for system troubleshooting and equipment startups
Travel to customer sites around PNW roughly 40-50% of the time to support troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of customer control systems
Qualifications
Journeyman-level electrician or equivalent industrial electrical manufacturing experience (this role is non-union)
3-7+ years of experience working in industrial or marine manufacturing environments is
Strong understanding of motor control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical panel design
Experience with troubleshooting automation and power systems
Familiarity with conveyors, pumps, and process equipment used in industrial or marine facilities
Ability to safely use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment
Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and relevant electrical safety codes
Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (modern and legacy platforms) is
Prior field service or commissioning experience in customer-facing roles is
Electrical or instrumentation certification is
Collaborative, curious mindset with a drive to learn and improve
Customer-facing technical experience, including field troubleshooting, is required
Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time and work flexible schedules as projects require
Salary Range
$100,000-130,000+ depending on experience
