What you Will Be Doing:

Serve as the on-site representative for the Contracting Officer, ensuring construction complies with plans, specs, policies, and safety standards.

Oversee contractor operations, inspect work, review submittals, and maintain detailed project records, testing, and documentation.

Administer complex construction contracts, manage project budgets, and lead project teams including Engineering Assistants and Technicians.

Coordinate with design staff, other agencies, and stakeholders to resolve issues, secure permits, and keep projects on track.

Mentor and evaluate staff while fostering a safe, collaborative work environment through training and regular oversight.

The Working Environment You Can Expect: This position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska. You’ll spend time at your desk using computers and project tools to track progress, document findings, and collaborate. Other days you’ll be in the field inspecting sites, operating equipment, and witnessing firsthand how your work enhances infrastructure.
