$30.00/hr - $45.00/hr Power Electronics Lab Technician - Statement of Work (SOW) Primary Job Title: Technician / Technologist This Statement of Work outlines the responsibilities, required skills, and experience for a Power Electronics Lab Technician service. Statement of Work (SOW) - Key Deliverables & Tasks

The technician will be responsible for the following key tasks: Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Harness Assembly: Build low voltage electrical harnesses; Crimp and solder terminals; Perform vehicle connector wire terminal insertion; Read electrical schematics; Prepare wires (cut to length, strip insulation); Wire harness inspection (inspect harnesses built by others for quality); Utilize electrical multimeters for measurements. High Voltage (HV) DC Harness Assembly: Prepare wires (cut to length, strip insulation); Utilize a battery-powered form crimp tool. Thermocouple (TC) Instrumentation: Instrument inverter components with thermocouples; Add thermocouples to various components of traction inverters; Make Type-K thermocouples from wire spool; Cut to length, strip, and solder thermocouple wires; Use a TC welder to create each cable; Read electrical schematics; Prepare wires (cut to length, strip insulation); Follow work instructions for TC placement; Epoxy TCs onto designated locations and neatly route wires; Wire harness inspection (inspect harnesses built by others for quality). Coolant Hose Connections: Prepare Power Cycler coolant hose connections; Prepare coolant hoses; Cut hoses to length; Insert hose barb fittings using a hose barb press; Connect fittings to manifold, chiller, and devices under test (DUTs). Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Soldering: Solder intermediate boards onto control boards; De-solder boards after testing is completed. No relocation assistance & must be a US Person Seniority level
