This role involves working with a Systems Integration Lab (SIL) performing activities related to testing and validating C5ISR systems for Army ground vehicles. It is a hands-on role primarily based in a lab environment. Essential Job Functions: Identify, engineer, implement, and verify new designs and configurations of system integration benches, test racks, cables, and harnesses to enhance usability and maintainability. Ensure system integration benches are fully functional and reflect current configurations to support testing of system software versions for proper functionality and interoperability. Troubleshoot errors or faults preventing proper bench operation and develop solutions to resolve these issues. Interface with Army and DoD program offices to understand system interoperations with vehicles. Provide support to system testers to facilitate effective and efficient testing, demonstrating a customer service mentality. Support electrical, mechanical, and software aspects of Combat Vehicle system bench planning, design, development, and execution. Collaborate with Army customers and DCS Engineers in a team environment. Assist in purchasing or building materials/components required for the lab. Maintain configuration management, including updating drawings to reflect lab configurations. Perform mechanical assembly as needed. Coordinate with government personnel for planning and executing system bench activities. Maintain current configurations and assets of system benches. Develop familiarity with various C5ISR and combat vehicle subsystems. Required Skills: U.S. Citizenship due to customer requirements. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN bus, Ethernet, Serial, RS-232, etc.). Interest in complex system interfaces and workings. Customer service mentality, professional demeanor, and on-site work capability. Teamwork, communication skills, sense of duty, responsibility, and initiative. Willingness to travel occasionally ( Desired Skills: Experience with vehicle computer systems like Multi-Function Displays, Power Management, Drivers Vision, or SA Enhancement. Knowledge of Systems and Software Engineering processes. Familiarity with DoD C4ISR systems (BFT, SINCGARS, WIN-T) and network operations. Prior military MOS experience (e.g., 25B, 25H, 25F, etc.). Experience with military ground vehicle electronics hardware/software and simulation/emulation. Aspirations for management roles within DCS, gaining experience in leadership, contract management, project finances, and recruitment.
