Improve process controls reliability. Continuously improve instrumentation and controls. Respond to and resolve instrumentation and control issues. Enhance plant electrical power distribution and motor control systems. Develop and implement electrical capital and expense projects. Main Functions
Manage instrumentation and control systems development and troubleshooting. Create installation drawings, data sheets, and specifications complying with industry standards. Support the development of plant project P&IDs. Assist in project scheduling and resource planning. Support procurement activities for instrumentation. Help manage plant DCS with Corporate Engineering. Develop skills of I&E technicians in operation and maintenance. Maintain high reliability of controls, instrumentation, and emission systems. Upgrade motor control centers and power distribution systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions. Support annual turnaround activities. Promote safety programs and respond to emergency situations. Oversee I&E group activities as needed. Characteristics
High energy, team player, strong work ethic, project management skills. Build relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to enhance plant reliability. Education & Experience
Electrical engineering degree required. Entry level; internship or 1-year experience preferred. Knowledge of NFPA/NEC codes is a plus. DCS experience required. Proficient in computer skills and effective communication. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
