Plant Engineering Manager
to oversee maintenance, engineering, and capital projects across multiple plant locations. This role ensures reliable operations through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, while also driving efficiency improvements and supporting long-term facility growth. The Plant Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership, mentor plant engineering teams, and collaborate with leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across multiple plants. Manage capital and expense projects, including design, installation, commissioning, and contractor oversight. Support plant leadership in developing long-term engineering plans, budgets, and resource requirements. Establish and maintain engineering specifications, standards, and operational parameters to ensure process stability and maximize productivity. Implement best practices to reduce costs, improve equipment reliability, and enhance efficiency. Oversee environmental compliance related to wastewater, waste, air, and stormwater management. Develop and execute action plans based on root cause analysis, production needs, and regulatory requirements. Partner with maintenance departments to support excellence in equipment reliability and cost control. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field 6+ years
of progressive engineering or maintenance experience in food manufacturing, including leadership of teams or projects. Strong background in capital project management, environmental compliance, and budget oversight. Experience with PLC programming and process automation. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
