Overview

Marian Regional Medical Center, a 191-bed facility located in Santa Maria, California, is part of Dignity Health's Southwest Division. The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care, and the ability to practice independently. Also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, identifies and implements nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes and evaluates results for a given patient population. Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within the Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab setting. Serve as a resource and preceptor. Identify and implement nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes and evaluate results. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Currently working in ICU, ER, or Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab or within the last 2 years. Critical Care nursing experience required, primarily in Radiology IR nursing. Current California Registered Nurse license. Current CPR certification AHA - BLS within 30 days of employment. Current ACLS within 30 days of employment. Preferred Qualifications: Angiographic experience desired. IR experience preferred. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through internal facility resources; outside RQI resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements. Pay and Employment
