Type: 1 year contract on W2
Pay Rate:
$24/hr
Shift:
1st shift weekends, Saturday-Tuesday 7:00am-5:30pm (4 10hr shifts)
Responsibilities
Perform analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
Conducts in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
Records test results on batch tickets and in company's computer operating system.
Organizes and maintains quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches and raw material champions
Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests
Sets up, adjusts, verifies, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments
Maintain housekeeping of the working place
Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy
Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
Performs 5S audits or other audits according to a plan.
Support all Quality Control related One PPG initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum of two-year technical degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related experience and/or training
Two (2) years analytical laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
