Case Manager, Per Diem, Days Shift (8 Hours)

The RN Case Manager is responsible for reviewing inpatients for admission criteria and continued stay criteria. They formulate discharge plans and interview patients and family members to assess discharge needs. The role involves collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary staff, and payers. The RN documents all reviews in the QRS system, including medical reviews for Medi-Cal, Medicare, IMS, cash, and other financial classes. Requirements: CA RN license Case Management experience preferred Recent acute hospital experience preferred Knowledge of Interqual Criteria, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Insurance regulations preferred Good written and verbal communication skills
