Overview
The Saint Mary\'s College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for the Frances Bardello Craig ’64 Assistant or Associate Professor in Computer Science position, beginning Fall 2026. This tenure-track position is supported by the Frances Bardello Craig ’64 Professorship fund, and the successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to programs and initiatives that advance the goals of the fund. Applicants will be expected to maintain an active research agenda and to develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science. The expected teaching load of this position is 18 credit hours per academic year (typically three courses per semester), with a course release during the first year to support new course development. Additional responsibilities include directing undergraduate research and senior comprehensive projects, academic advising, and contributing to departmental and College service. Qualified applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in computer science or a related field.
