Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN — Frances Bardello Craig ’64 Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science. The Saint Mary’s College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to programs and initiatives related to the Frances Bardello Craig ’64 Professorship fund, maintain an active research agenda, and develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science. The expected teaching load is 18 credit hours per academic year (typically three courses per semester), with a course release during the first year to support new course development. Additional responsibilities include directing undergraduate research and senior comprehensive projects, academic advising, and contributing to departmental and College service. Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. in computer science or a related field. Responsibilities

Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate computer science courses (typical load: 18 credit hours per academic year; three courses per semester). Direct undergraduate research and senior comprehensive projects; advise students academically. Contribute to departmental and College service; participate in program development related to the Frances Bardello Craig ’64 Professorship fund. Engage in ongoing research to maintain an active scholarly agenda. Participate in course development, including a course release in the first year to support new course development. Qualifications

Ph.D. in computer science or a related field. For assistant professor: strong potential in teaching and research. For associate professor: evidence of excellence in teaching, an established research record, and a strong commitment to professional service. Application Process
