The Mobile Radiologic Technologist, Driving (“Mobile RT”) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to examine and treat patients. This role performs a variety of technical procedures and applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including performing patient X-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Mobile RT Driving provides support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The Mobile RT Driving works across sites near one another and travels to the respective site as patient care needs arise. The traveling nature of this role requires flexibility and responsiveness to patient and organizational needs. The Mobile RT Driving will be exposed to a variety of urgent care settings, maximizing the quantity of X-Rays performed. Travel within the region includes by car, and will require access to a vehicle, a valid State driver’s license, and to pass an MVR background check. Key Responsibilities

Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to aid in diagnosis or treatment for patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use. Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services. Assist patients by pushing them in a wheelchair when needed. Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain QA/QC logs for equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed. Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of patients and the organization due to the traveling nature of the role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong service orientation and social perceptiveness Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning abilities Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred Core Competencies

High School Diploma (required) Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required) Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire (ARC or AHA) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required Valid State Driver’s License Must pass MVR background check Experience
