Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of trauma patients. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team. Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splinting. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide patient and family education on post-trauma care and recovery. Participate in trauma surgeries and emergency interventions. Document patient information accurately and efficiently. Adhere to protocols, guidelines, and regulations related to trauma care. Requirements:

Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice. Certification in Trauma Nursing or Trauma Surgery preferred. Demonstrated experience in a trauma center or emergency department. Strong knowledge of trauma assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Schedule: 8 or 12-hour shifts Patient Volume: 10 per day Cases: Trauma surgery first assist, critical care rounding EMR: Meditech Expanse Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses
