PRN Clinical Audiologist - Audiology and Vestibular
Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking a PRN Clinical Audiologist to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team. As an Audiologist, you will provide hearing tests and aids using family-centered care and attention. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Responsibilities include: Providing clinical diagnostic and management services for hearing, balance and tinnitus disorders/impairment using family-centered care. Providing services in designated clinical space, inpatient hospital space and/or operating room, as needed. Documenting and maintaining accurate records for all services provided to patients. Completing administrative tasks such as inventory, placing POs, ordering devices and supplies. Ensuring performance of daily and monthly equipment checks and biological calibrations. Participating in resident education as requested. Providing direct and indirect supervision of student interns and Au.D students, as requested. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license to practice audiology upon hire Certificate of Clinical Competence Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within new hire period Physical Requirements: Must be able to assist patients with mobility problems. Good hand dexterity to manipulate small objects associated with hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc. Ability to push carts which carry audiology test equipment. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
