Ascension . Details: Department: Computerized Tomography CT; Schedule: Days FT; Hospital: Ascension Saint Alexius; Location: Hoffman Estates, IL; Salary: $47.38 - $64.10 per hour. Responsibilities
Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff. Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Provide input for hiring and termination procedures. Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes. Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require. Create work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7. Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application. Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained. Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload and adjust supply levels as needed. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the ARDMS obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the ARDMS obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences
Previous CT Experience Required. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., occasional weekends. Benefits
