Research Scientist I - Immunology
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist (Immunology) for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV.
Serve as a scientist in the conduct of assigned preclinical and clinical research studies of basic to moderate complexity, to include study management, interpretation and reporting of study data, and assuring the regulatory compliance of these projects.
Responsibilities • Conduct nonclinical and clinical studies at all levels of complexity.
• Manage study design and optimization of cell-based assays (ELISpot, neutralizing antibody assays, cytokine release assays, PBMC isolation techniques, and cell culture).
• Serve as a primary scientific contact for key clients and on-site support of their programs.
• Provide support of specialty studies and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific related discipline (Master’s or PhD preferred).
3 to 5 years related experience in contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with cell-based assays, ELISpot, neutralizing antibody assays, cytokine release assays, PBMC isolation techniques, and cell culture.
Experience with Mabtech IRIS, MSD, Luminex platforms desirable; familiarity with flow cytometry a plus.
Understanding of regulatory requirements, SOPs, GLPs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in standard software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Pay Range $90,000 to $95,000 annually USD (salaries vary based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and location).
