We have a wide range of orthopedic surgeons and mid-level providers, including physical and occupational therapists, PAs, and NPs. About the Role: Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the Physician. Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Review patient medical records. Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Perform complete physical exams and record findings. Establish presumptive diagnoses. Order lab and diagnostic procedures. Administer injections and medications. Advise patients on health and illness prevention. Recommend community resources to support patients and families. Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatments. Assist physicians in recording patient progress. Issue diagnostic orders. Triage patient phone calls. Provide monitoring and continuity of care between visits. Provide on-call services as assigned. Prioritize work activities based on clinical demands. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Working knowledge of computer programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Complete and maintain HCP training. Understand and perform training on practice management software. Continue to expand knowledge of practice management software as updates occur. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Maintain Arizona State License. Maintain CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of Physician Assistant experience in a busy orthopedic practice.
