Psychiatry - Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
position with CommonSpirit Health in Hot Springs, AR. CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas and part of CommonSpirit Health, has a long history of care and service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Geriatric Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to senior patients within an inpatient hospital setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including medical history, mental status examinations, and psychosocial evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the program. Maintain current knowledge of best practices in geriatric psychiatry. Benefits

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain). National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Experience working with geriatric patients in a psychiatric setting is preferred. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
