Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology – Pueblo, CO
UCHealth is looking for a full‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Gastroenterology team at UCHealth Parkview Group in Pueblo, CO. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills, be enthusiastic about working full‑time, and possess a strong interest in gastrointestinal care.
Base Pay Range $100,605 – $143,777 per year
Responsibilities
Directly collaborate with one GI physician as an APP provider.
No nights, weekends, or on‑call duties.
Clinic schedule Monday‑Friday, generally 8:00‑17:00.
Outpatient clinic open 20 patients per day with dedicated assistant support.
GI experience preferred.
EPIC EMR used system‑wide.
Requirements – Physician Assistant
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
Unrestricted Colorado PA license.
PA‑C certification required and must be maintained.
DEA permit to prescribe all common medications.
Eligibility to provide reimbursable services, Medicare and Medicaid provider status.
Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
Prescriptive authority as per medical staff privileges.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Requirements – Nurse Practitioner
Master’s degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited NP program.
NP certification from ANCC or AANPCB required and must be maintained.
Unrestricted NP license from Colorado Board of Nursing or compact privileges.
Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
Full prescriptive authority.
DEA permit to prescribe all common medications.
Eligibility to provide reimbursable services, Medicare and Medicaid provider status.
Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
