This position, located in Huntsville, AL, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. Role requires on-site work with no remote options. Position Overview
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial part of the Missile Defense System. It provides an essential operational platform that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability, delivering a well-optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a key component of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system\'s current and future capabilities. As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT).
Essential Functions
Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple development sites
Collaborating with the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure security and compliance
Providing regular updates on the status of the pipelines and coordinating to resolve issues
Serving as a Scrum Master for a team of 6 to 10 members
Collaborating with teams and the Product Owner to ensure successful sprint execution
Besides CI/CD engineering responsibilities, this role will also serve as Scrum Master and provide Agile coaching for a cross-functional team of 6-10 people
Assisting the teams with Agile processes and practices, and coordinating with them and the Product Owner
Basic Qualifications
Current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on resume, if applicable
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 5 years of experience; or Master’s degree (preferred) with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
Candidates with an active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) are strongly preferred; if not held, it must be obtained within 40 days of the start date
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs
Experience with CI/CD tools
Experience with repository management tools
Experience with Scrum Master principles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Linux
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and their application to IT and IT products
Experience in Source Code Management
Scrum Master experience with an understanding of Agile methodologies
Understanding Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Verification cycles would be beneficial
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and poise, including occasional travel between development facilities
Willingness to work independently or in a group setting in a dynamic environment
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working with multiple disciplinary teams, including Systems Administrators, IT, and Security
Experience with MS Office software and Agile development tools
Strong skills in time management and attention to detail

Additional information: Primary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; compensation depends on scope, responsibilities, experience, and market conditions.
