We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Manager
to oversee all aspects of the accounts payable function and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, proven experience in process improvement, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing AP team. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounts payable department, including supervising AP staff and ensuring efficient daily operations. Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, vendor account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency. Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to measure team performance and ensure continuous process improvement. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and analysis. Prepare and present AP reports to senior management on a regular basis. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred, but not required). 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounts payable best practices. Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Benefits
