CACI International Inc . The position supports the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia. The role involves Agile software development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents in protecting national security, while contributing to agile programs and the ASF methodology within a geographically distributed team. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of a matrixed team supporting Configuration Management, Release Management, Testing, Training, Hardware Engineering, Infrastructure, and Warehouse and Logistics Management. Schedule and coordinate enterprise resource requirements across multiple workstreams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with program objectives. Lead a diverse team by assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and fostering a high-performing, accountable, and engaged workforce. Conduct regular performance reviews, support professional development, and ensure team members have the tools and guidance needed to succeed. Review engineering roadmaps, product initiatives, timetables, proposals, reports, and evaluations with the Executive Program Manager and Engineering Manager. Contribute to Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Bill of Materials (BOM) buildups; identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Proactively assess and resolve complex business problems, issues, and risks that may impact performance, cost, or schedule. Serve as an Agile Coach educating individuals, teams, and leadership on Agile frameworks; coach across team, portfolio, and enterprise levels to deliver working software incrementally. Manage Scrum tasks (sprint planning, user story mapping, estimations, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives) and mentor the team on Agile processes and DevOps practices (Pipeline, collaboration, TTD, CI/CD). Facilitate process improvements and optimize portfolio, team, and enterprise processes; maintain ASF methodology and remove impediments. Analyze ASF performance data and foster positive team dynamics to maximize performance. You Have

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation (3-year felony checks, 1-year checks for illegal drug use and misconduct). 10+ years of related experience; college degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or related discipline (experience acceptable in lieu of degree). Agile or Scrum Master certification; minimum 3 years’ experience in Agile coaching. Ability to coach diverse scrum teams within a portfolio; working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and related agile tools (e.g., Jira Advanced Roadmaps). Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with on-site requirement in Sterling, VA. You’re Good At

Leadership and team management; teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Analytical and technical problem solving; written and verbal communication; planning and organization. Understanding real-world mission objectives and software development practices; experience with incremental software development using Agile Scrum; full SDLC knowledge. Coaching, leading, facilitating meetings; holding teams accountable for ASF implementation; experience with estimation; strong MS Office skills. Bonus Would Be Having

Prior experience with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) systems. Significant experience in Agile/Scrum environments; software development background. Experience with ServiceNow; strong independent problem-solving and communication. Compensation and Culture

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range is $103,800 - $218,100, with final compensation influenced by location, experience, skills, and certifications. CACI offers comprehensive benefits and learning opportunities. CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
