Overview Role: Java Full stack Developer Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Collaborating with Developers and Solutions Architects in all phases of the development lifecycle

Merging project solutions with enterprise architecture

Conducting research and assessment of options for technical design issues

Solving problems in detail design document

Recognizing issues and developing solutions

Leading a team of developers, assigning tasks, mentoring junior developers, coordinating components for successful delivery

Working with operations teams and providing documentation, training, production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution

Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to integrations, including API and messaging

Independently coding, debugging, revising, testing, and documenting complex components to ensure secure and optimized functionality

Experience & Education / Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

Graduate degree preferred

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a senior/lead Java Developer

In depth knowledge of Java programming language and Java EE technologies

In depth knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Spring Framework, Spring Boot

In depth knowledge of System integration via REST API, SOAP, Kafka Streaming, MQ, Topic, MFTP, API Gateway, and enterprise service bus

In depth knowledge of Java EE environments such as WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic Application Server, and Tomcat

In depth knowledge of Databases and SQL

Designed, developed and implemented highly available mission critical Java EE n-tiers applications and Single-Page applications

Set up development environments and mechanisms using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, Docker

Experience with digital identity tools, including oAuth2, JWT, and SAML Security Specifications

Experience with Azure and AWS cloud development

Experience in agile methodologies for the analysis, design, development and implementation of applications in large complex environments

Experience in Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methods and procedures

Experience with BPM tools such as: Pega BPM, Camunda BPM, jBPM, Oracle BPEL Process Manager, or IBM Process Server

Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques, design patterns, JEE design patterns, enterprise integration patterns

Knowledge of current trends and best practices in Java, JavaScript development

Knowledge of Angular, React, JSF, and other UI framework is an asset
