California State University, Northridge . The Sport Clubs Coach II (Archery Assistant Coach) is responsible for the coaching of the assigned Archery club. Responsibilities

Coordinate practices; home and away competitions; and tournaments. Teach a wide array of participants from beginners to experienced high school and collegiate athletes; properly instruct fundamentals and technique. Aid athletes in elevating competitive performance, archery mental preparation, elite micro-technique development, long-term archer development, and injury prevention/physical therapy. Assist club leadership with short- and long-term goals and a plan of action for the academic year. Perform other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university. Qualifications

Minimum: two years experience coaching at the youth, high school, junior college or collegiate club level and a high school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse student population; demonstrated leadership and organizational skills; experience coaching at the collegiate club level. Pay & Work Schedule

Hourly wage is commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience. This is a seasonal, hourly, part-time position typically from September through May. Travel is required for competitions. Typical schedule will be between 5 and 20 hours per week. Pay range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour. General Information
