Responsibilities
Utilize CET Designer software to create detailed and accurate furniture layouts, considering the available space and clients' specific requirements.
Design creative and efficient furniture arrangements, optimizing functionality and aesthetics.
Utilize the extensive MillerKnoll furniture catalog within CET Designer to select appropriate products for various commercial applications.
Customize furniture solutions to meet clients' unique preferences and design specifications.
Utilize CET Designer's real-time rendering capabilities to create captivating 3D visualizations of proposed designs.
Present design concepts to clients and project teams, effectively communicating the vision and benefits of the proposed solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from design to installation.
Provide design support during client meetings and assist in addressing design-related inquiries.
Stay updated on building codes and regulations related to commercial furniture design to ensure all designs meet relevant standards.
Stay informed about the latest MillerKnoll product offerings, trends, and innovations to provide expert advice to clients.
Conduct training sessions for internal team members on CET Designer software and its functionalities.
Offer exceptional customer support throughout the design process, addressing any client feedback or design adjustments promptly.
Maintain a strong client relationship, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Commercial Furniture Designer, with expertise in using CET Designer software for commercial projects.
In-depth knowledge of commercial design trends, space planning principles, and ergonomics.
Proficiency in CET Designer software, with the ability to create detailed furniture layouts and 3D visualizations.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of clearly conveying design concepts to clients and team members.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with MillerKnoll's product offerings and a passion for creating inspiring and functional commercial spaces.
