Your role at Clorox:

As part of the Sales Planning team, you will support the development and execution of customer and category business plans. You will partner closely with the Sales Planning Team Leader, Sales Planning Manager, and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to influence the development of Multi-Year and Next FY Category Plans. You will be assigned to take on the primary responsibility for managing Sales Planning activities or serving as the key interface for a specific channel and/or customer.

Responsibilities

Engage our People as Business Owners : Develop individual capabilities to promote growth. 20%

Drives the Business:

Contributes to Business Plan for Category or Brand. Works with cross-functional partners and field teams to bring Customer perspective. 30%

Customer and Category Planning:

Provides input into integrated customer plan and contributes to business plan release for assigned Category/Brand. Responsible for assigned customers. 30%

Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste : Uses appropriate tools, processes, resources to support organization. 20%

What we look for

Typically requires 3+ years of CPG experience

Clorox internal (Sales Planning) or equivalent experience

Clorox external (Field/Customer) experience beneficial

Strong Category Knowledge

Consultative/Solution Selling

Category Business Planning and Insights

Understanding of key Clorox Processes

Workplace type The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be located out of the Durham, NC office, with openness to qualified candidates who are within the Minneapolis, MN area. Clorox Hubs based upon business needs. Internal applicants across other Hubs are open to apply. Internal applicants preferred to be in roles of Regional Sales Manager, Sales Planning Associate Manager or other Sales Associate Manager opportunities currently.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900

–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900

–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
