Bluetail
We’re looking for true Sales Hunters to join our Sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you will help support the rapid expansion of Bluetail by generating demand for our market-leading digital aircraft records software. A successful SDR will use their hunter sales skills and a variety of communication channels (email, phone, text, social media) to connect with potential buyers with the goal of scheduling an online demonstration with one of our aviation software experts.
What You’ll Do:
Gain an understanding of the Blutetail product offering customer stakeholders within the business aviation industry
Entrench yourself in a proven and established method for prospecting via email, phone and social media platforms to a targeted list of prospects
Use creative and compelling tactics to break through the noise and develop rapport with key customer stakeholders
Use a consultative sales approach focused on solving a prospect’s problems; not just pitching software features
Conduct discovery calls using a curated set of questions to qualify and schedule inbound leads to ensure successful demonstrations
Manage a sales pipeline in our CRM as prospects move from Lead to Discovery to Demo stages
Collaborate with Marketing to help create and manage lead generation campaigns with a focus on lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation
Position yourself for future opportunities in Sales or elsewhere in an early-stage, high-growth company
What you’ll need:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional ability to actively listen to and engage with prospects to uncover problems and needs
Positive, problem solving attitude with a passion for creating individual and team success
Strong work ethic, coachable attitude and open mind to feedback and hungry to winning
Comfortable working in a start-up environment; one that encourages creativity, being a self-starter and an appreciation for measured risk and unlimited rewards
Preferable background in SaaS and/or aviation
How you’ll be measured (KPIs):
Number of outbound activities (phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, etc)
Number of demos booked
Number of demo completed
Pipeline dollars created from outbound activities and booked demos
