Job Description
The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in developing, maintaining and overseeing the cybersecurity of assigned F-35 systems at Orlando, FL. Responsibilities
Ensuring all applicable cybersecurity policy, plans, and procedures are followed. Implementing and validating required cybersecurity controls, including continuous monitoring. Supporting development and maintenance of cybersecurity related plans, procedures, and guidance. Monitoring and recognizing non‑compliance, suspicious and anomalous activity, and effectively reporting associated risks. Planning and executing remediation actions for vulnerabilities identified. Conducting role‑based cybersecurity training for assigned users. Collecting and retaining data to meet reporting requirements. Correlating data from multiple sources to identify and mitigate threats. Investigating, analyzing and responding to cyber events and incidents. Qualifications
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and associated artifacts. Experience performing continuous monitoring of system security controls. Final Transferable Secret security clearance with recent reinvestigation. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access. Valid certification meeting DoD 8140 ISSO requirements (SSAE+, GSEC, CASP+, CCSP, CISM, CISSP, etc.). Prior experience as an ISSO, ISSM or related DoD Cyber Workforce Role. Knowledge of F‑35 systems and applicable DoD cybersecurity regulations. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for special access. Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills. Desired Skills
Knowledge of DevSecOps tools centered around open‑source software. Familiarity with modern DevSecOps software tools. EEO Statement
