Track & Field Head Coach
at Napa High School Responsibilities
Conduct daily practice sessions and manage a five‑week season beginning in April. Plan and execute practices and competitions, including travel to away games. Develop positive relationships with parents and players; coordinate an end‑of‑season awards recognition. Manage equipment and support student‑athlete development both on and off the field. Apply knowledge of character building, adolescent psychology, nutrition, risk management and the rules and strategies of track & field to coaching practice. Qualifications
Experience in track & field coaching; working with student‑athletes. First Aid/CPR, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports and NFHS Heat and Illness prevention, and other district HR requirements. Available to coach during the season as specified; able to obtain required certifications if not already held. How to Apply
