dynamic SHEQ Manager

to lead Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality initiatives at a high-performing manufacturing site. This is your opportunity to shape culture, elevate compliance, and drive world-class operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Safety & Health Leadership

Drive a ZERO-incident safety culture by implementing proactive programs focused on prevention, awareness, and accountability. Lead the Central Safety Team (CST), setting strategic objectives, standards, and performance targets across all locations. Develop and track leading safety metrics; monitor permit-to-work systems and contractor compliance. Oversee emergency response and business continuity protocols; ensure testing, readiness, and continuous improvement. Conduct internal SHE audits and implement corrective/preventive action plans. Champion employee training and engagement programs through safety talks, digital communications, and leadership by example. Sustainability & Environmental Compliance

Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards. Monitor and minimize site impact on the environment, including CO₂ emissions, waste levels, recycling rates, and water consumption. Lead initiatives to improve sustainability across energy use, materials handling, and transportation. Coordinate external audits and environmental performance updates, leveraging internal and third-party expertise. Quality Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Lead ISO compliance for Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), Safety (ISO 45001), and Energy (ISO 50001) systems. Drive quality improvement initiatives to ensure a world-class customer experience and eliminate waste tied to operational and supplier issues. Conduct occupational health and quality audits including ergonomic studies, chemical exposure reviews, and supplier inspections. Ensure full alignment of Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures across all departments. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in SHEQ leadership roles within manufacturing, preferably automotive. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred. Demonstrated success managing SHEQ systems and compliance in fast-paced, high-risk environments. Experience with OSHA VPP, risk assessments (e.g., FMEA), and audit procedures.
