We are looking for a passionate and committed Student Minister to lead our 6th–12th grade ministry with energy, creativity, and spiritual maturity. This leader will create a Christ-centered environment that challenges students to grow in faith, develop lasting relationships, and live boldly for Jesus. The ideal candidate will be equipped to disciple youth, partner with families, and lead a team of adult volunteers—all in alignment with our mission and vision. Key Responsibilities
Lead and equip a team of youth sponsors who serve as spiritual mentors. Plan and execute dynamic and engaging student ministry programs and events. Develop a discipleship strategy that includes systematic teaching, with an emphasis on apologetics and spiritual growth. Partner with parents to help them disciple their children with grace, love, and biblical truth. Ensure all student ministry activities are conducted in a safe and welcoming environment. Communicate clearly with students, parents, sponsors, and CHCC staff. Collaborate with ministry leaders, especially the Children’s Minister, to create smooth transitions between 5th & 6th grade. Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for Student Ministry. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a ministry-related field. 3-5 years of student ministry leadership experience. Strong relational and communication skills. A demonstrated heart for discipleship and pastoral care. A deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects godly character. Reporting & Relationships
Reports directly to the Lead Pastor. Works closely with the Children’s Minister and other ministry leaders across CHCC. Spiritual Expectations
As a staff member at CHCC, your spiritual life is central to your leadership. This includes: A regular rhythm of prayer, Bible study, worship, and personal discipleship. Active participation in the life of the church through service and tithing. Living a life that is above reproach, honoring Christ in all areas. To Apply:
