Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Antimicrobial Stewardship Program

Summary: The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and/or modify both pharmacotherapy and pharmacotherapy related initiatives associated with their specialty practice area. This will include patient-specific as well as other broad initiatives such as protocols, order sets, policies, and procedures. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will lead, assist and/or advise their practice area providers, as well as Clinical Coordinators, Supervisors, andDirectors of Pharmacy in hospital-wide and/or system-wide initiatives associated with their practice area including in formulary management tasks. Other information: * Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. * Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency. * Completion of a PGY2 pharmacy residency in the associated area, or related area of practice. * Active post-licensure Infectious Diseases certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or eligible to sit for exam by start date of work, certification must be obtained within 12 months from start date of work. * Twenty-four months experience as a full-time clinical pharmacist within an inpatient health-care setting. * Active license in good standing to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy. * Demonstrated and documented expertise and experience in direct & indirect patient care initiatives. * Eligible and experienced in precepting APPE students from ACPE accredited Colleges of Pharmacy. * Eligible to precept pharmacy residents within an ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program.
