The Department of Theatre and Dance at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. MSU Denver Theatre and Dance . Responsibilities
Courses are 3 credit hours and primarily in-person. Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, maintaining office hours, and complying with university policies. Ability to adapt to new modes of instruction and sensitivity to a diverse student body are highly encouraged. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or related field plus 6 years relevant experience; or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre or related field plus 4 years relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
Master of Fine Arts in Theatre or related field plus 2 years relevant experience; or Master of Arts in Theatre plus 3 years relevant experience; or Doctorate in Theatre or related field plus 2 years relevant experience. Terms of Employment
Part-time, at-will, teaching on a per-credit basis, usually semester-by-semester. Not eligible for benefits. Teaching in person/on campus is expected upon hire. Salary
