Location: In-person in Worcester County, MA (no hybrid or remote opportunities available) Expected Start Date: October 2025 Expected End Date: June 2026 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week Grade Levels: Elementary, 1st and 2nd grade students Responsibilities
Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, integrating academic, social-emotional, and communication objectives. Implement evidence-based behavior support strategies outlined in students’ Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Use proactive ABA techniques (e.g., reinforcement, redirection, visual supports) to promote positive learning behaviors and academic engagement. Differentiate lessons and activities to meet the diverse needs of students with severe behavioral challenges. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to create consistent learning environments. Facilitate smooth transitions between lessons, activities, and settings, using structured cues and routines to support student success. Monitor, assess, and document student progress and behavior to inform instructional planning and BCBA review. Foster a safe, supportive classroom culture that promotes growth, independence, and self-regulation. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
