MSG is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer or Landscape to join our Civil Engineering team in
Cincinnati, OH.
Projects could include site design for commercial and residential projects; design of parks & recreation facilities, designs for municipal facilities such as streetscapes, parking facilities, and municipal buildings in urban, suburban, and rural environments.
Key Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with licensed engineers on design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, residential, energy and community projects throughout the Midwest.
Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including: Surveying, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, MEP, Site Construction, etc.
Conduct site analysis, research local codes, and assist in project permitting.
Assist in the design and development of site plans, landscape plans, grading plans and illustrative graphics for parks, streetscapes, trail systems, civic spaces, and commercial developments
Support all phases of design and production from conceptual planning through permitting and construction administration.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelors or higher in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineer (preferred)
2-4 years of related experience
EIT preferred or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD, LandFX, Adobe suite, SketchUp or other modeling programs required.
Experience in design and plan preparations.
Strong graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
