prestigious international law firm , is seeking a highly qualified
Mid-Level Associate Attorney
to join their
Mergers & Acquisitions
and
Leveraged Finance
practice in their New York office. The firm is recognized for its sophisticated corporate transactions, advising top-tier clients on complex financial deals.
Responsibilities
Counsel clients on M&A transactions and leveraged finance matters, including acquisitions, recapitalizations, and restructurings.
Represent private equity sponsors, borrowers, lenders, and financial institutions in high-value transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, ensuring compliance with market standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute deals efficiently.
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from a Top-Tier Law School, with a strong academic record (near the top percentage of their class).
3-6 years of experience in M&A and leveraged finance at a Large Law Firm; current employment at a leading firm preferred.
Active Bar Admission in New York.
Extensive transactional experience in complex financial deals, including negotiation and structuring.
Proven ability to work effectively within a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
