We are hiring a
Senior Landscape Designer
for our Los Angeles office.
Role The Senior Landscape Designer develops project concepts, site plans, specifications, and presentation drawings. Projects include hotel and resort destinations, residential communities, urban and mixed-use developments, and large-scale master plans.
Responsibilities
Design landscape architectural projects, developing innovative solutions.
Collaborate with senior leadership on design concepts, project implementation, and responding to design intent, schedule, and budget.
Produce and review drawings, models, site plans, grading, hardscape, water features, planting, stormwater management, and landscaping.
Contribute to diagrams, renderings, and graphics in collaboration with the project team.
Participate in project planning, design, due diligence, and computations.
Create sketches, presentation drawings, diagrams, schedules, and other documents.
Assist with layout and yield studies, technical assistance, code research, specifications, and permitting.
Ensure quality control on plans and specifications, solving technical issues.
Potentially oversee a small team and coordinate client presentations.
Maintain a strong focus on client service.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
5-10 years of experience in landscape architecture or site design.
Landscape Architecture registration and environmental accreditation preferred.
Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Illustrator, AutoCAD; Revit and Rhino preferred.
Strong illustration, rendering, visualization, and graphic skills.
Effective communication skills across verbal, written, and visual formats.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Teamwork-oriented.
