Overview
Stewarding Supervisor at Horseshoe Bay Resort. The role supports the BOH operations, managing the daily kitchen utility operations and staff with a focus on dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating, and food running. Responsibilities
Assist with supervising kitchen associates not actively engaged in cooking (e.g., dishwashers, kitchen helpers). Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. Manage equipment, china, glass, and silver inventory; ensure adequate supplies and proper use and cleaning of dish room machinery. Enforce cleaning routines for serviceware, equipment, and floors; supervise loss prevention to prevent accidents and control costs. Oversee night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, and banquet plating/food running as needed. Provide feedback based on observation of service behaviors. Ensure food holding and transport equipment is in working order. Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED; prefer 2 years of experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. Minimum age 21 years. Valid Texas driver’s license and satisfactory MVR for insurance purposes. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Additional Requirements
Communication: clearly convey information through various media; engage the audience and help them understand the message. Customer focus: develop and sustain productive customer relationships; address customer needs. High work standards: set high performance standards and take accountability for tasks.
