The Opportunity Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for

EDGE Server

Responsibilities

Has complete knowledge of food and beverage products and specifications; clears and resets tables quickly.

Greets guests warmly with a smile and checks for table setting completeness.

Describes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner features, including menu changes and daily specials.

Oversees table maintenance, coordinates service with runners, and works with coworkers to clear and re-set tables.

Operates as a member of a team, assists others, and performs other restaurant duties as requested by management.

Maintains stations with silverware, glassware, share plates, condiments, and related items.

Ensures guest checks are completed and presented promptly; handles changes or charges in a timely manner.

Communicates guest needs to kitchen and management; assists in ensuring smooth operation and quality service.

Controls the amount of alcohol served to ensure guests’ safety.

Promotes a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Must be able to work all shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum two years of fine dining experience.

Role Details We are seeking a highly motivated Sommelier to join the team. The Sommelier is responsible for creating wine lists, ordering wines, and maintaining the wine stock. Provide wine suggestions to pair with foods and assist with service as needed. Comply with all Four Seasons policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

Maintain an accurate beverage program, including wine list updates and POS system usage.

Train staff on the beverage program across all Food & Beverage outlets.

Lead, coach, and discipline employees to meet standards.

Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through exceptional service.

Manage wine cellar operations, including receipt, storage, inventory, and ordering.

Develop and maintain controls for beverage costs to maximize profitability.
