Role Overview The Regional Sales Manager leads a group of salespeople within a sales region, aligning with strategy, executing revenue growth, expanding market share, and building long-term customer relationships within a defined U.S. region (East & Southeast territories).
Essential Functions & Requirements
Sales Leadership & Strategy
– Leads execution of regional sales strategies, translates objectives into plans.
Team Development & Performance
– Builds, develops, and manages a high-performing Sales team, sets goals, coaches.
Customer Engagement & Retention
– Develops strong relationships with key customers and partners with Operations for service delivery.
Business Development & Market Expansion
– Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, represents at industry conferences.
Reporting & Forecasting
– Leads forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, tracks KPIs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field (required).
5+ years of sales leadership and/or territory experience in environmental services, waste management or industrial services (required).
Proven success leading multi-state or national accounts and achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets (required).
Previous experience working with manufacturing, energy, government, or other heavily regulated industries (required).
