We are currently seeking a

Licensed Architect

to join our

Dallas office

in a

senior-level leadership role , depending on experience. This role involves both design and operational leadership, including managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and taking ownership of a profitable division. While the focus is on residential design (single-family, townhomes, subdivisions, etc.), experience in

shopping center or commercial design

is a bonus. Multifamily experience is also valued. Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and project delivery from concept through construction

Oversee production of construction documents, code compliance, and technical detailing

Serve as the licensed professional responsible for stamping plans (Texas license required)

Mentor and manage junior staff and project teams

Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and consultants to ensure quality execution

Manage schedules, project budgets, and profitability

Support strategic growth within the residential division and assist with new project opportunities

Ensure design intent and technical standards are upheld throughout all phases of work

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)

Active Texas architectural license

required (multi-state licensure is a plus)

8–15+ years of experience

in residential architecture; multifamily or commercial experience is a bonus

Prior leadership or management experience in an architectural firm

Deep knowledge of Texas building codes, permitting processes, and construction standards

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp/Enscape a plus

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
