Responsible for managing cases from inception through trial preparation, advocating for clients, and delivering high-quality legal representation. Manage personal injury caseloads from intake through resolution. Draft pleadings, discovery demands/responses, and substantive motions. Conduct and defend depositions (plaintiffs, defendants, and non-party witnesses). Represent clients in court appearances, conferences, and oral arguments. Maintain ongoing communication with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers. Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation, including strategy and exhibits. Qualifications
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree; admission to the New York State Bar. Experience: 3-5 years in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Skills: Strong motion practice, discovery management, and negotiation expertise. Core Competencies: Analytical thinker, problem-solver, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Communication: Superior written and oral advocacy skills. Languages: Spanish fluency (written and spoken) preferred. Experience in motor vehicle accidents (MVA), slip and fall, and general negligence litigation (3-5 years). Benefits
