Jobs via Dice RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking a Cost Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for cost control and reduction Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, to management and stakeholders Data Management: Maintain and update cost accounting systems and databases to ensure accurate and timely financial information Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and operations, to gather data and provide financial insights Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost accounting and financial reporting Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5+ years of experience in cost analysis and FP&A, preferably within a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis Excellent communication and presentation skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
