South Tahoe PUD is Now Hiring: Electrical & Instrumentation Tech I & II. Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for power, precision, and high-tech systems? Join our team and play a key role in maintaining and advancing critical infrastructure systems.
What You’ll Do Depending on experience level, responsibilities include:
Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.
Working with equipment up to 15,000 VAC, VFDs, PLCs, RTUs, and standby generators.
Calibrating sensors for flow, pressure, temperature, pH, turbidity, and more.
Supporting SCADA and HMI operations using Wonderware software.
Who We’re Looking For
EI Tech I: Entry-level with a solid foundation in electrical systems.
EI Tech II: Experienced tech with strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, PLCs, SCADA, and field instrumentation.
Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to learn or lead.
