We focus on superior quality and performance in demanding environments. Transportation District Sales Manager Remote, based near Indianapolis, Indiana (or surrounding areas). Reports to the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for driving product sales through customer, dealer, and fleet presentations, sales calls, and promotional activities. Supports current business at trailer and truck body OEMs, dealers, and fleets within the assigned district. Responsibilities

Identify key personnel within target organizations with high influence. Assess potential share gains by customer, product, and geographic area. Drive new product introductions through customer, dealer, and fleet presentations, sales calls, and promotional activities. Execute new specifications for Crane products by demonstrating value to the customer. Service and support current business at trailer and truck body OEMs, dealers, and fleets within the district; ensure customer needs are met and resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner. Maintain strong and positive customer/supplier relationships through timely and consistent communication. Attend industry trade shows outside of the district. Understand current market trends and driving factors impacting the business. Submit weekly highlights through CRM and provide other reports in a clear and timely manner; provide pertinent end‑market information to the Sales Manager or other appropriate personnel through proper use of CRM. Regularly update and maintain customer correspondence in CRM, including weekly highlights, opportunity sales funnel, call planners, and upcoming tasks with customers. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. 5+ years professional selling experience; experience with the transportation market preferred. 25–30% overnight travel. Ability to plan, schedule, and organize work priorities and objectives with minimal supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM software; experience with a structured sales process. Experience with specification or other pull‑through sales efforts.
