Valto, Inc is the world’s leading provider of FRP composite panels with 70+ years of experience. We deliver lightweight, durable products for building materials, recreational vehicles, and transportation. We are seeking a District Sales Manager based in the Northern Indiana area. This role reports to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio sales plan, pursuing market opportunities, and strengthening customer and brand quality. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of strategic selling experience, preferably in the Recreational Vehicle space. How you’ll make an impact
Create and implement a strategic sales plan by customer and product line within the district to maximize revenue and profitability. Build and sustain strong customer relationships by engaging regularly in face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers in purchasing, product management, and production. Identify and pursue new market and product opportunities, including emerging applications and future growth areas. Deliver responsive customer service by addressing client needs with urgency and ensuring timely, fair resolution of issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in Salesforce, including daily activities, weekly highlights, sales opportunities, and upcoming customer engagements. Conduct lamination audits for accounts located outside of Elkhart County but within the assigned district. What you bring to the table
7+ years of strategic selling experience required. Experience with consultative selling is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree highly desired. Ability to be in Elkhart County 90% of the time. Experience in RV, transportation, or automotive space. Demonstrated experience selling into large OEMs. Experience with a structured sales process, Professional Selling Skills or Strategic Selling methodologies. Experience with consultative selling a plus. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software. Overnight travel could be up to 10% (Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, southeastern states).
